AB'S CITRUS BLISS BALLS

Bliss balls are an easy healthy snack for the entire family. Kids love them for their school lunches, and they are perfect with your afternoon cup of tea.
In the AB’s Honey kitchen, we’ve created two versions of Bliss Balls, using our beautiful AB’s Manuka Honey we know you’ll love.

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup dates, pitted
  • 1 tbsp AB’s Manuka Honey
  • 1 cup cashews
  • ½ cup almond meal
  • ½ cup coconut flour
  • Juice and zest half a lemon
  • Juice and zest half an orange
  • 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
  • 2 tbsp poppy seeds
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Place the dates and honey into a food processor and blitz for 2-3 minutes or until the dates resemble a paste.
  • Add the cashews, almond meal, coconut flour, citrus juice and zest, poppy seeds, vanilla, and salt into the processor bowl.
  • Blitz for 2-3 minutes or until the mixture is combined and holds together.
  • Roll into balls.
  • Place in the fridge to set.

Instructions
 

  • Place the honey and peanut butter into a bowl and mix to combine.
  • Add the cacao or cocoa mix to combine.
  • Add the coconut and mix until well combined.
  • Roll into balls.
  • Place in the fridge to set.

Notes: Store bliss balls in the fridge for up to 4 days. These bliss balls are freezer friendly. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
