Manuka honey, pollen protein bar

Manuka Honey and pollen protein bar

Easy to make and full of goodness. Manuka honey, pollen, with a touch of Ironbark honey.

Chill Time 8 hours
Course Snack

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 325 g peanut butter
  • ½ cup Manuka MGO 100+
  • ¼ cup Ironbark honey
  • ¼ cup hemp seeds
  • 2 tbsp protein powder
  • 200 g chocolate baking chips
  • 2 tbsp bee pollen

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl add peanut butter, oats, Manuka Honey MGO 100+; Ironbark honey; hemp seeds and protein powder
  • Mix well
  • Mix in the chocolate baking chips and pollen. Keep a few baking chips and pollen to sprinkle on top of the mixture once in the baking dish
  • Turn the mixture into a 3cm deep mixing dish.
  • Sprinkle with some baking chips and pollen and refrigerate overnight.

Notes

Tips:
Warm the peanut butter in the microwave for 20 seconds to help with the mixing.
A warm spoon will help scape out the honey.
Hemp seeds can be replaced with other options like LSA.
