These banana bread waffles use Manuka & Cinnamon honey and cinnamon which heightens the flavour even more.
Serve with some yoghurt and fresh fruit (and of course an extra drizzle of honey) or store in the freezer for a quick on-the-go snack you can pop in the toaster.

RECIPE (makes ~10)
• 1 cup milk
• 1/4 cup Manuka and cinnamon honey
• 190 g (1 ½ cups) flour
• 60 g (½ cup) protein powder
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp salt
• ½ cup mashed banana (approx. 1 banana)
1. Mix all ingredients together until it forms a slightly thick batter.
2. Leave the batter for 10 minutes to let the flavours combine.
3. Heat your waffle maker with a small piece of butter/oil
4. Add a large spoonful of the mixture to the middle of the waffle maker and cook for approximately 3 minutes or until golden on the outside and set.
