Orders & Support

How can I place an order?

Placing an order is quick and easy. Simply browse our online store, select the products you desire, and add them to your cart. Proceed to the checkout process, where you'll provide your shipping and payment details. Once your order is confirmed, we'll take care of the rest.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept various payment methods, including major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, and other secure online payment platforms. Rest assured that your payment information is protected and encrypted for a secure transaction.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders will be dispatched by our team on the same day if the order is received by midday Queensland time. Orders received after this time will be dispatched the next business day. We send parcels Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays).

Shipping delays may occur during busy periods, eg Christmas, public holidays, and business holiday closures between Christmas and New Year.


Can I track my order?

Yes, absolutely! Once your order is shipped, we'll provide you with a tracking number via email. You can use this tracking number to monitor the progress of your package and stay updated on its estimated delivery date. If you have any issues with tracking your order, feel free to reach out to our support team for assistance.

Shipping & Returns

Do you offer international shipping?

Unfortunately we are unable to send honey outside of Australia as each country has different customs requirements. 

How long does shipping take?

We dispatch orders received by 12pm Queensland time on the same business day. Orders received after this time will be dispatched the next available business day. Our preferred delivery service providers are Australia Post and Aramex Couriers. If you have a preference for Australia Post or Aramex, please let us know in the notes section of the checkout and we will endeavour to accommodate.

Once your order leaves our premises, it is in the hands of the delivery service. Depending upon where you are located, you can expect your parcel to arrive within 2 to 3 business days, or within seven working days to regional areas. During busy periods like Christmas or in times of high demand on the courier/postal services, delays in delivery can occur. Natural disasters, for example flooding or bushfires, may cause delays that are out of our or the couriers’ control.

If you are in a hurry to receive your honey or bee product, we also offer an Express Post delivery service. Please refer to the postage question above for further Express Post information.

What is your return policy?

AB’s Honey has a 100% satisfaction money back guarantee. We take customer satisfaction very seriously. If any of our products do not meet your expectations, please email us at admin@simplyhoney.com.au within seven days of delivery. We offer refunds of the purchase price (excluding shipping costs) or a replacement of the same product ordered if the product or its packaging is deemed faulty. Your goods must be returned for assessment in order to receive a refund or replacement.

We cannot offer refunds or replacements for change of mind.

We will refund or replace faulty stock within 7 days of receipt of the original stock being returned to our office. A complete and thorough assessment of the returned goods will be performed by our team.

Please note that refunds can only be issued to the account/payment method used for the original transaction.

Restrictions to Western Australia, Northern Territory, Norfolk Island, or Kangaroo Island and Tasmania.

Due to the delicate balance of the eco-system, legislation does not allow us to send honey or bee products to Western Australia, Northern Territory, Norfolk Island, or Kangaroo Island or honeycomb to Tasmania. 

What if my order arrives damaged or there is an issue with the product?

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by a damaged or defective product. If you receive a damaged item or there is an issue with the product, please contact our customer support team immediately. We will gladly assist you in resolving the issue and arranging a replacement or refund as necessary.

What is Raw Honey?

Put simply, raw honey, natural honey, pure honey, and real honey are essentially the same things – 100% honey, nothing added, nothing taken away. This means ALL the honey in the jar was made by bees, NOT in a factory.

Raw honey contains tiny particles of pollen and natural enzymes, making this delicious product even better for you.

Is the honey organic?

Our honey is 100% pure, natural Australian honey with nothing added. It is sourced from ethical and responsible Australian Beekeepers, with hives sited in Australia’s bush, forests, hinterlands, and coastal regions.

Bees can forage up to 5km from their hives in search of the best nectar for their honey. Although our honey is not certified organic, it is as pure, raw, and free from environmental contamination as can be.

My honey has crystallised and gone lumpy. What should I do?

After a period of time, most real honey will crystallise. You can turn your honey into liquid again (if that’s how you prefer it) by standing it in a pot of heated water, out in the sun, or on a sunny windowsill and the crystals will melt. We recommend that you do not heat your honey in the microwave.

Is the honey pasturised?

No. AB’s Honey is 100% pure and raw. It is only gently filtered to remove any hive debris, such as wax and flower particles.

Pasteurisation requires heating the honey to high temperatures. This can remove much of the natural goodness. If required, our honey is only ever gently warmed to the temperature of a summer’s day to allow it to flow smoothly into jars and bottles.

Can babies under 12 months be given honey?

It is recommended that you avoid giving honey to infants under 12 months of age because of the risk of contracting infant botulism. It happens when a child ingests Clostridium botulinum bacteria or spores, which are found in dirt and dust and can contaminate honey. However, older children and adults are not affected by them because their gut has developed sufficiently. It is best to seek a physician’s advice if you have any concerns.

Leptosperin has been linked to the authentication of Manuka honey and to its human health benefits. New research from the University of the Sunshine Coast shows Leptosperin levels in Australian Manuka were up to nearly three times that found in New Zealand Manuka Honey.
