AB's Honey Chicken with Honey Moroccan Chilli Recipe
AB's Honey Moroccan Chilli and Honey Chicken
The honey, lemon and chilli give the dish a wonderful spicy flavour
Ingredients
- 8 chicken thighs (skinless)
- 1 large onion (diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 4 tbsp Rainforest Honey
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 lemon (half for juice, half cut into thin slices)
- 2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp paprika
- 110 grams dried apricots (diced)
- 1 fresh chilli (diced) add more whole for a hotter dish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 180 degrees ℃

Place chicken thighs and onion into a lightly oiled casserole dish

Combine honey, lemon juice, turmeric, paprika, garlic, chilli and pour over chicken

Add diced apricot, lemon slices and cinnamon sticks. Add extra whole chilli for a hotter dish

Cook for 1 hour or until chicken is cooked thoroughly

Remove cinnamon sticks before serving with couscous or rice
